We serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.
Our Director Cherie River's nephew, Harrison, was born with Down syndrome 26-years ago. When she observed his speech therapy sessions, she decided to become a Speech Language Pathologist.
Cherie started her private practice over 18 years ago, working out of her home. Through the years, we've worked to forge a great reputation in our community, with over 50 employees serving children in schools, clinics, and homes throughout the Allegheny, Butler, Beaver, Westmoreland, and Washington counties.

Who we Are
River Pediatric Therapies is a private practice, staffed with over 50 certified and licensed Speech Language Pathologists, Developmental Therapists, Behavioral Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
Through interactive techniques and by consulting with your child's school, home, preschool, and/or daycare, your child is made to feel joy and accomplishment in each session!
Caregivers and family members are encouraged to participate in the treatment sessions, and to implement them at home.
